Our production facility in Frövi/Rockhammar, a few miles north of Örebro, is a world-leading manufacturer of packaging board and liquid carton intended for users with very high demands for efficient, creative, and functional packaging solutions. In Rockhammar, unbleached and bleached CTMP (chemical thermomechanical pulp) is produced for delivery in bale form to Frövi. The liquid carton is used, among other things, for packaging milk, juice, yogurt, and other liquid foods. The packaging board is used for high-quality packaging for products such as perfume, chocolate, electronics, premium beverages, dry and frozen foods. In Frövi/Rockhammar, there is also a development center and laboratory with expert knowledge in packaging optimization, print support, and conversion support.

About the role

We are now looking for a project manager for our Technical Department, section Mechanics/Construction.

As a project manager, you will be responsible for steering, leading, and organizing projects that develop and optimize our production facility. You will have primary responsibility for ensuring that your projects meet their goals and set quality requirements based on our project model. In addition to project management, you will also be involved in improving our project processes and working methods.

Your main tasks:

• Be responsible for the project's safety, economy, communication, and handover to the client.
• Ensure that maintainability and documentation are in place for completed projects.
• Scheduling and consultant management.
• Participate in the development of working methods and tools within the Technical organization.

Who are you?

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:

• Have an academic degree, preferably as a civil engineer with a focus on mechanics or construction, or equivalent work experience.
• Have experience leading multidisciplinary investment and/or renovation projects, or have worked in similar projects and want to grow into the project manager role.
• Have experience in project work within the process industry, assembly management in piping/mechanics, welding experience, or a certification in IPMA or PMI.
• Knowledge of safety aspects such as the Machinery Directive, Bas P, and PED or other relevant safety standards.

As a person, you are self-driven, proactive, and used to engaging both internal employees and consultants. You have a strong safety mindset and technical understanding, while also being structured and goal-oriented.
